ah fuk, i just finished typing a whole journal entry explaining what was happening at work, and because im on a laptop (and im not used to it yet) i just hit back a few times and erased the whole bloody thing. 
i know...moronic me. well in a nutshell the company i work for is spliting into 2 companies and the programmers and designers are going to be in a tech company in another building about 10 minutes away and us (pr and marketing and sales) are staying where we are. the advantage is that i will most be in charge of the new and improved, streamlined company and any and all idiots, jerks, trouble makers, and assholes are part of the 'other' company.
someone in the job heaven really likes me...this is like the next best thing to finding a better job. the current one just gets a massive over haul.
well im happy about this for the meantime, even though the changes are happening in july. it will be just in time for a nice birthday present (well uh ok august but its around the corner) wow...2004 so far is shaping up to be good. now if only i could get another raise, i'd be pretty damn happy.
maybe money can't buy happiness, but it can sure make things more fun!
I hope to go to Toronto soon after my parents get back from their vacay. And NYC this summer i hope i hope.
