Happy Thursday. I must tell you all, Im on this quasi-Atkins diet, and yes I have lost weight since monday, but omg I am getting soooo sick of eating bacon! The only way I can eat it is if its highly drained from the grease. I mean practically 25 years of drumming into my head that fat and grease are like poison, and now i'm trying to eat the very food I avoided like the plaigue, it feels weird. Yesterday I ate bacon, followed by chomping on a big piece of old cheddar, and then a hamburger pattie. Eash...oh and a carrot. I can't wait till this 2 weeks of fatty foods is finished so I can eat more veggies.
Oddly enough I don't crave carbs! I never though it would be possible, but not at all. What I do miss is the easy prep, and ideal snack foods that all consist of crackers, chips, toast, noodles etc. *sigh* I actually have to whip out a frying pan every time I want to eat something now, which in turn makes me peel veggies more often bcuz i'm lazy.
There is a mountain of dishes around my sink *uuuuuh* from the past few days. I MUST do the dishes and all tonight without fail and get my butt to the gym tomorrow. No if ands or butts!!!
