Too many or too few?
Well I figured i'd start updating again. It was just the initial shock of waking up one morning and feeling totally stupid on a site I used to know as well as the back of my hand. I'm getting used to it though, it IS pretty and all. Anyways, so as many of you know as of late i've reached 10lbs. now lost. Yay. And i'm working towards my next 10. But the scale hasn't been moving despite my great workouts and food control. However I had a sneaking suspicion that I was maybe not eating enough calories. I've been doing a lot of reading on BodyBuilding.com and if I don't consume enough calories, my body will think it's going into starvation mode and hang on to whatever fat I have. Tah dah...I threw a couple of days worth of food into my food calculator and i've barely been attaining 1000 cals per day. Damn! It's still that old mindset of "the less you eat the thinner you'll be". Something even my Mom still tells me. Hah speaking of which when I told my parents that I was excited about purchasing Whey Isolate Protein Powder to have as a shake after my workouts they both told me to be carefull and not get mixed up with all those steroids. Whaaaaaat?? I guess the fitness culture is yet another one that is misunderstood by many people. Seems i'm attracted to those throughout the years, Feminism, Paganism, The Rave Scene, The Porn Industry, and now the Fitness industry. Oh well, I think of all of the above this one is by far the healthiest for me. I don't plan on doing any bodybuilding competitions, and not anytime soon. I just want to be fit and healthy.
I've also started reading Women's Health. I picked up their summer guide and it's great. Mind you a lot of the same info is in the Abs Diet book, but that too is a great read. Well I guess i'd better go eat..gotta catch up to those 1600 calories a day!
Oh and isn't Shiloh Nouvel the cutest little baby?? Seriously, not because of who she's from but, she really is a pretty baby.
