ick...mild headache most of the day. not enough sleep all week and stayed up late last night only to wake up after about six hours of sleep. headache's suck. at least it didn't turn into a migraine.
the home show was okay. picked up several business cards from contractors and siding/window people. soooooo many expensive things i need and want to do with my home. there was a demo of a very cool litterless automatic cleaning catbox (LitterFree) that hooks to your toilet or washer drain. instead of litter, it uses plastic pellets. once a day, you turn it on or set it to come on automatically at the same time every day, it fills with water, runs the entire contents of the box through a set of propellers that breaks up any solid waste. after three cycles of that, it flushes the water and broken up waste out through the drain. it runs a fourth cycle adding a cleaning and deodorizing solution, which cleans the plastic pellets. it then has a built in heated fan that dries the pellets. but at $300 each, i think i'll continue doing it the old fashioned way. enough on cutting edge kitty boxes.
did not make it to Dari's for dinner, but the porter onion soup at McMenamin's is wonderful. yummmmmmmmm. and they've switched the hard cider to a pint finally.
and in hockey news, another loss for the Winter Hawks.
