Did 'too much too young' by the specials at kareoke last night. i was easily the best singer of the night. go me.
this morning me and elliot subject poor victims around us to our hungover humour. giant squids! fred dibnah!
a lovely frosty and clear start to the day, becoming very warm later, we took a trip to avenham park with steph earlier- she'd never seen it, and it was nice to spread the beauty.
if it wasn't for that park, preston would be totally shit. its like a pilar to the sanity of several people i know. can't wait for summer to chill and read there in the sun, and at night smoking biffs and watching my mates fire poi-ing on the meadows.
still in a bit of a flunk, but hoo dee hum, as it's wednesday, here's some lovely poetry-
Phoenix by DH Lawrence
Are you willing to be sponged out, erased, cancelled, made nothing?
Are you willing to be made nothing?
dipped into oblivion?
If not, you will never really change.
The phoenix renews her youth
only when she is burnt, burnt alive, burnt down to hot and flocculent ash.
Then the small stirring of a new small bub in the nest with strands of down like floating ash
Shows that she is renewing her youth like the eagle,
Immortal bird.
As Yet Unknown (Lay me down)- by Catcher01
Lay me down and love me,
Breathe, "You're forever mine."
In willow forest glades,
Where red roses never die,
Lay me down and love me,
Until the end of time.
Che Gelida Manina- by Catcher01
Your tiny hand is frozen,
Your gentle heart is broken.
And we cant make it good again.
Clear blue sky turned black.
Nothing I can say,
Can take the pain away.
Nothing makes this good again.
No silver lining.
Sorry for the things I said,
Wont help rest your busy head,
When all the good is dead.
Black skys all there is.
