First blog. I've been here for awhile now, trying to take it all in. I admit, I'm overwhelmed. But happily so. I've told a friend of mine she could do some hopeful shots, I hope she does. I know you'd dig her.

I've looked at profiles and hopefuls. I like the democratic approach here. A couple of my favorite hopefuls made it through. I'm on a dial-up connection, so I have no choice but to take my time looking the site over.

Anyway, my next step? Looking at the groups and things. See who all's here in the Detroit area.

Oh, and thanks, well, just for the site and for all of you being you. Sounds corny, I know. But hell, so am I. Life ain't all doom and gloom unless you want it to be. And if you do? Hey, that's all right, too.
