fox does not like arrested development!
i can say that i am a fan of arrested development. probably not as big as my roommates, but i do enjoy the show and i am disappointed that the show is being cancelled by fox.
my question for fox is, "did you really give the show a chance to be seen?"
arrested development has won multiple emmys and golden globe awards and yet they are always put into the worst time spots of the week. for example, tonight, the final episodes of the show (at least on fox) will run in a two hour block. it so happens to be up against something called the "opening ceremony of the XX olympic winter games." i'm not sure exactly what the olympics is all about, but it sounds very erotic and almost pornographic with all its Xs. so, i'm guessing that millions of viewers will be tuning in because of that reason.
do you really expect people to watch arrested development over the winter olympics, which occurs every four years. whoever came up with this genius time slot for arrested development should be applauded for helping with the demise of the show, and fox's ultimate goal of getting rid of an actually good and intelligent show. hopefully another network will be smart enough to help continue the run.
