Halloween was very cool. My boyfriend was visiting from New Orleans. We went, along with a bunch of my friends, to see a midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. There was a live performance going on at the same time as the movie showed, but they had assembled the cast out of the people who showed up, very last minute, and they were pretty awful. I give them a lot of credit for trying, though. This showing was partially sponsored by the Transgendered Awareness group on campus--I found myself watching for different things in the movie than I had previously. It's amazing--I've seen the movie a lot, but I never seem to really know what it's all about, or what is going to go on. I chalk that up to watching it with friends and not paying attention to the film itself. I find it hysterical that my parents watched this movie when it came out--they're so conservative and stodgy...My father, anyway.
All in all, a good weekend. Now, work. Lots and lots of it. I have to write 40+ pages (multiple papers) in the next month. Kill me. My energy is waning with the temperature. I always want to hibernate when winter comes.

The first time I saw Rocky Horror was in NYC (G. village) on my 18th birthday...whoa..an experience I will never forget.
I am going to NOLA this month. I'm always looking for an escape when the weather starts to get cold by Jan. & Feb. I start losing my mind.
take care, behave, and enjoy!
