So, Dammit, I'm at work again. This happens every weekday, I hate it so much.
The baby is still sick. I'm going to request (again) that he go to the doctor. Then we'll see if I have the balls to say "In fact I'm not coming back until he goes to the doctor."
Shooting myself in the foot? Maybe. But this is fucked. He's miserable. It's fucking sad to see a little baby miserable for no reason.
On the sunny side of life, I am very optomistic about finding a new job. I WILL be working someplace science-y within a month. I'm applying at Scripps, Sea World, the Birch Aquarium, San Diego Audobon Society, the Chula Vista Nature Center, and maybe the San Diego German Shepherd Rescue Center. Also area flower shops. And that's all I really want to do. No more nannying! Fun fact: I HATE the word "nanny".
Yesterday was the last day of my whale watching adventures for this year. I lived for those Sundays. We saw a megapod of dolphins, again yesterday. And encountered a bunch of Pelicans, which was interesting. Here are some pictures:
This is a bottlenosed dolphin. The others are all common dolphins.
San Diego is teh awesomest.
Here's a piece I did for the upcoming Fish Out of Water Art show "Shoot 'Em Up": .
Pretty, innit? Fish Out of Water website here.
Fish Out of Water Myspace here.
Spring Break:
Some juvenile purple striped jellies:
And a nice picture of a pretty little kitty that really ought to be dead now. He used up 8 of his lives by the time he was 3 days old. He's great.
Good, excellent, I feel a little better.
