What a quiet, pleasant, productive, expensive weekend.
I spent the weekend with my friends and heard nary the squeal of children all weekend. Bliss. I did lots of homework. I watched "McLibel" and "Supersize Me" for my CD class and as yummy as McDonald's is, I'm REALLY going to try to not eat fast food anymore. I got my Ocenaography work done, and bought my ticket for Motley Crue and Aerosmith here in San Diego. (This is a whole 'nother rant, but one damn ticket, only so-so seats were $140. This is fucking insane. Some seats for the Vegas show are in the thou$ands. Not only do I not really want to spend this kind of cash on shows I've already seen a thousand times, but it's gonna be arenas full of fucking rich people! GAH! I don't think I like that either! Rock 'n' Roll is supposed to be for everyone, for all those kids on the streets and in trailers...how often do you hear Motley Crue blaring from the tops of the Hollywood Hills? A lot less often than you hear it in a trailer park. It's incredibly unfair. I'm not even pissed that I'm throwing money down for these shows, I'm pissed for the people who couldn't dream of affording to go. Fuck you in your stupid ass, Ticketmaster and Live! Nation.
)
A more pleasant way to spend money is on a trip. And if any of you are looking to go on a trip, this site seems to have some good deals goin' right now. I've decided to take my sister to San Francisco for her Christmas present. She LOVES to go there and so do I and neither of us have been in quite a while, so we'll be there for 4 days. I can't wait. We get along so well in that we like to do many of the same things so I think we'll both have a great time. And San Francisco at Christmastime! Ooh, it will be SO PRETTY!!!
And I bought a new computer too. Just a Dell, nothing fancy. This little laptop has served me well, but I think it's about to kick the bucket here...It's at least 7 years old. And now a nice new sleek thing is being built in Malaysia just for me.
So I am now in debt up to my ears, but that's ok.
I fell Fall Cleaning coming on. The weather is getting SO beautiful, so autumn-y. I love fresh starts.

Supersize Me is the main reason I stopped eating MCDonalds!
