Ok, I lied. That wasn't all. I'm now at work, on my sk. Still tired.
Still want to crawl back into my lovely bed. But quite amazed that I can
come into work almost THREE HOURS late (though I do get to pick my hours
so technically if I work til 6 I was only two hours late). And I have no
new emails, no voicemails, no missed calls. Shows ya how exciting my job
is, doesn't it?
Ive currently got long stemmed roses sitting in my sink
Due to the
major lack of me being cool enough to own an actual vase haha. They make
me smile.
Last night Omeganightmare and I met up in Vacaville with Catagogo and
TDS for Teriyaki House(!). We then drove TDS out to Lakeport so he could
be home for the Thanksgiving holiday. And let me tel you. We (TDS not so
much) were so hyped up on energy drinks and loud singalongable music
(Catagogo makes the best mix cds ever!!!) and just a lotta bit silly. It
was so much fun. After we dropped TDS off @ his place we drove out to
this casino...Apparently it used to be 18+ but is now 21+ and they were
totally going to let me in! Ha! But Catagogo is a lil younger than me,
so her DL didn't show the right year. So we drove to another one, went
in, and allll the ATM machines were offline
So we just ended up
heading back to Vaca, singing and playing the "question game" and having
great conversations.
So now I'm stuck at work, the office is totally dead, and I'm
exhausted.
OH! But I got my first rental at this property yesterday. It was an easy
sale, and the lady who applied is soo sweet and has one of the cutest
babies ever. I love moving people on. I love knowing my residents and
having my property feel a bit more social, especially since the one I'm
at currently is so small and the current ones tend to keep to
themselves. Although there's this cute old man who I'm cat sitting for
starting on Friday. He told me to raid the fridge and his cupboards, and
help myself to his couch and big screen tv and hang out with his kitten.
He offered to pay me for it, and I need the money. But I refused. He's
just too sweet, and I wouldn't be doing it for the money, and I'd feel
bad if I did take any sort of compensation...
Ok, I'm sooo tired. I need to go grab my coffee mug from my apartment
and fill it to the brim with lots and lots and lots and lots of coffee
in the hopes ill be able to stay awake at work today.
