Hi all.
Well today hasn't turned out to be a very good day. Didn't get much done. But hopefully being here will change all that and the rest of the day will be great.
My thoughts on films:
I'll watch any film as long as it won't give me nightmares. Even then, if other people are watching it, and it looks well made / famous then I'll watch it even with the nightmares.
I like to watch films just for themselves. But I prefer films that are either well produced (i.e. not Birth, which I went to see recently and it actually had the sound boom hanging down into the shot several times - how unprofessional / off-putting, to say nothing of the rest of the film) or original/offbeat (Whale rider is a fav of mine, and I saw Waking Life immediately as it came out) or that just have my preferred actors/actresses in.
I've suddenly become very envious 'cos i've realised that there's a lot of people on here that can watch films before I've even heard of them just 'cos they live elsewhere ie US. Whereas living in the small town of northampton and subscribing to UGC, I'm limited in the availablity of my films.
Anyway, so that's a lot of thoughts on films. Since I've been away for a couple of days, the words of the day were 'bereft' and 'dissemination'.
love, Cat

Ugh, the boom getting in shot can instantly kill any movie. Especially if I'm so engrossed in the movie that seeing it drop in jars me back to reality. I hate that.
Please excuse any typos/grammatical errors. Lack of sleep, y'know?
Nice to meet you though.
Are you making a card with glitter and pasta shells?
