Sitting, Working
Smoking, caffinated
Wishing, hoping
Wondering in thought
Pacing the halls of my mind
Ever watched a coal train for the length of a sunrise...
Have you seen the stars glimmer in the city lights...
Can we force a change that needed to happen years before...
does anyone think that its all worth while...

I just saw your post on the Cincy no friends page. I moved outta Cinci - nasty about 3 years ago.
Much of it sucks, and on the whole, it is pretty conservative.
But it does have some cool parts, too. Well, it might. I've only been to my friend's house the past couple of times I've been there.
If you haven't checked already The Comet in Northside used to have kickass burritoes, good beer selection and a great jukebox. It had (maybe still has) some cool local art, too. Pooltables and sometimes bands. I think.
Stillwell's in Clifton (on Ludlow maybe?) is a pretty dingy coffee dive with good Turkish coffee and lots of smoking.
One of my favorite places is a total s@t-hole called Fries Cafe (I think on Jefferson). Every possible socio-economic type person you can imagine hangs out there. Super rich lawyer looking people to homeless guys. They have real darts, lots of pooltables and "the sliding game". I don't know what it's really called or how to play, but that's what we called it.
I would suggest shoes you're not afraid to part with.
Ault Park rocks in the summer - the people watching is great.
Good luck.
