Was just checking out one of the photography "groups" I'm in on Facebook and ran across the following conversation about a photo photographer 1 had just posted...
Photog 1: posts pic of girl by tree with leaves slightly out of focus in front of about 1/4 of her face for critique
Photog 2: "There's a tree in the picture"
Photog 1: "Intentional"
Photog 2: "i think it's too much of a distraction. probably needs more bokah.."
Me - :::face palm::: FML, I need better photography "friends"...
a) It wasn't a great pic
b) the "tree" aka few leaves wasn;t the part of the pic I'd be critiquing, maybe the shitty lighting first
c) its BOKEH, and NO, we DO NOT NEED MORE OF IT!!! Please, FORGET THE WORD!!
d) Photog 1 is waaaaay better than photog 2, so if I were him, I wouldn;t be offering up my opinion anyway.
That is my rant for the morning, thank you for listening
Also... my football team is on a bye week, so in my world, football doesn;t exist today... Watching the hockey network instead and getting the itch to pick a new hockey team...
