Printed books will be available Soon.
You lovers have been encouraging me to publish some of my stories. Well, here's a start. Here are a dozen stories from a dozen women across the United States, and a couple of mine, of course.
“When I first set foot in Lucky Devil Lounge in Portland Oregon, five years ago, I had no idea that I would open my eyes, heart and soul to the beauty and horror that exists within humankind.
For each thrill, there is shock. For each victory, there is shame. The unmatched adrenaline rush of thrilling a hundred strangers while dancing on stage has only been felt by those brave enough to risk their everything. I’ve also opened my eyes, my mind and my legs.
And most girls don’t strip forever. “When are you going to get a ‘real’ job?” The truth is, many of us do both. I’ve been pleased to meet former strippers in all walks of life. Two college literary professors. One mortuary owner. A dozen restaurant owners. Two kindergarten teachers. One Catholic school teacher. Hairstylists. One electrician. Two construction workers. An Intel nerd. Social workers. And of course, artists and writers. We exists everywhere, as all women do. As strippers, we’ve found the light in dark places, and the darkness that exists everywhere else.
But that doesn’t matter. For a job so based upon fantasy, there is nothing more real than the rawness of emotion and expression that I’ve found inside the stripclub. This is as ‘real’ as it gets.
And we are proud. When my knees ache, when my back cracks, when my hips pop and when my lips stretch to reveal a secretive smile, these stories are only a few that exist among the thousands of women who would dare to tell the world what we are. We are women, we are heroes, we are whores. We are strippers.”
