I'm really nervous about 2011. So many changes are going to happen for me. 2010 has already been an intense year getting settled with my RN and working on my own after graduating and passing my boards. But I've decided to work at a travel agency after February (my one year anniversary at the current hospital im working at).
Its a pretty good agency too. They provide you with a one bedroom one bathroom private apartment so I've decided to put all my furniture and stuff in storage and save money on rent/ electric/ internet etc. There are just a few things to work out like my car insurance etc. I'm so nervous about this decision but I can't think of a better time to do it. I'm young and have no attachments to anyone around here except my family. I've already talked to the agency and they said I will be able to take my kitties with me plus health insurance is paid for as well as workers comp, 401k is matched, professional liability insurance, and I get a weekly steipen for food that is pretty generous (like 245$).
I think I will start taking online classes towards my bachelors as well. I'm looking at Utica College and Penn state. The only issue is money. But I think that since I wont be paying for rent and a lot of things, I will be able to pay off my credit cards and debts and my car in no time. (I only have a year left on my car payment anyway).
I love traveling and I think this is the best way to do it. My dad is totally down for it but my mom is a little weary but thats no change. I'll get to be a new place every 13 weeks if I want
Its going to be new and exciting and shit your pants scary at the same time.

Think of it as an adventure. The good thing about being a nurse is you will always have a job. If things don't work out at the travel agency you can go back to nursing. But, you will never know if you do not try it.

Thanks! I think he's okay. He was in the back when it happened. He hasn't been limping or anything. For him it's almost like it never happened!
