Hmmm, I'm not in that great of a mood today... probably because I feel overwhelmed with this week and school. I went to an A Perfect Circle concert last night, which forced me to cram a bunch of homework and projects before I left, because I wouldn't have time to work on them at all the day of the exam. Unfortunately, I didn't finish, so now I have to work out what I'm going to do.
On the bright side, though, the concert was badass Let's start from the beginning...
The drive there wasn't TOO bad (probably because I wasn't driving ), but there was some irritating traffic here and there throughout Austin. We got there literally right when the opening band, A Mars Volta, started. Now, the mp3s of them I heard weren't TOO bad, and it was something I could kind of get myself into. After seeing them live, though, I revoke any previous thoughts of giving them a chance. It's not that they were bad, because they were all very musically talented. The problem was that their music wasn't cohesive at all, it just seemed like each of them were playing whatever the hell they wanted, and it just kept going on and on and on. That, and I was probably really anxious to see APC.
Finally, an hour and a half later, APC started. They started with "Vanish," which both me and my friend thought was a dumb start They also played these songs, in case you were curious (in no order, because I can't remember):
-The Hollow
-Magdalena
-Judith (final song)
-Oretes
-3 Libras
-Thomas
-Thinking of You (the song that got stuck in our heads)
-The Package
-Weak and Powerless
-The Noose
-Blue
-The Outsider
-The Nurse Who Loved Me
-Pet
Wow, it was greatness. I'd go into more detail, but I have to leave for class in literally like 1 minute.
The drive back wasn't too bad, once we got outta the concert area, and we made our 3 hour journey back to Austin, finally getting back at 4:15 AM, and me (after checking SG ) hopping straight into bed.
And here I am now, with the good portion of my week over, and the crap left ahead of me. Sigh.

I always end up cramming everything in and then getting really stressed out. It's my curse.
That's awesome you got to see APC! I'm going to buy tickets tomorrow for them. They're coming here in May. I'm going to see Slipknot on the 3rd and RASPUTINA on the 13th!!!! I can't wait for all these shows!
