Hi SG land! I hope everyone is doing ok in these weird times we are in.
It's been ages since I've done a proper blog, I think with not being able to shoot because of all that's going on I kinda felt like I didn't have much to talk about that's SG related.
As you've probably noticed, the majority of my times has been spent making YouTube videos. It's been a great way to distract myself from the world a bit and I am genuinely enjoying it. I've always loved being creative and making things and knowing that other people actually enjoy watching me fumble my way through projects is a really good feeling. My latest project has been to make a new corset. I'm going to be starting an 1880s outfit soon so needed a corset that was the right shape. I also wanted this corset to be something I could wear out too and not just be underwear. I'm so pleased with how it turned out and it also gave me a good opportunity to get dressed up full on goth which I've not been able to do in ages.

The last thing to do for this is the flossing (decorative embroidery) and then I'll be making a lobster tail bustle which should be fun. I've never made anything like that before so it may or may not end up a disaster 😂
In other news, I got to actually meet another person and shoot again! 😁 I'm fully vaccinated now so feel a bit safer.
In late June I got to see the lovely @melissalalucy again and we shot a bunch of sets. We had such a good day and it felt amazing shooting again, I was actually a bit worried that I'd forgotten how it had been that long lol. It also felt great interacting with another person irl and not over Zoom. Like I was able to feel things were getting back to normal somewhat. One of the sets we shot "Hey Ho, Let's...Get Naked!" will be hitting MR in 4 months, 2 weeks and I'm super exited for it.
That's all for now, I've not been doing much other than YouTube. I will try my best to up date more though, just with general life stuff until I can properly get shooting again.
