May I point out that, although you don't blog that regularly, when you do they are always extremely good. Quality, not quantity...a lesson I could learn from!
The siding is up, our phone---knocked out by the siding guys---is back on, the house is mostly painted and looks wonderful, none of our lights are back up, the back porch is still roofless, and there is one window still not done at all...but it finally seems like it might end.

I managed to get ahold of an old friend of mine from college and he's letting me use his shower and bathroom. Yay!!
... I'm so glad i found his number. It is UNUSUALLY hot here. It was 93 degrees yesterday! It was even hot at night. I'm sure you know, it's never hot at night here. I actually saw the moon! lol No fog, no wind, just heat. Really not a good time to be without a shower.

I don't think I've ever heard of a cat with dysplasia. Merlin is at risk of it because he grows so quickly, and his bones are still soft. So he's not allowed up and down stairs, and only goes on little walks, till he gets a bit more robust. He compensates by trying to mount every dog in sight - even though his balls haven't dropped yet.

Poor kitty! Sound like she's in good hands and the prognosis is good.
