Ah, the trials and tribulations of working with a live model...

She showed up late (late on the day we rescheduled to, after she had to cancel on the original date), balked at getting nude (after agreeing to it when I initially approached her about the work), fidgeted the whole time (THAT part, I could deal with), wasn't much fun to talk to (*sigh*) and bailed early-- yet still insisted on being paid the full amount for the session, at $25.00 an hour, with a three-hour minimum (she stayed for less than 2)...

Well, at least I got some kind of practice.

I'm interviewing another model on Tuesday, and I don't think this one will have much problem getting nude for me (actually, I kind of suspect she WANTS to get nude for me, but not to sit still). We'll see how that one goes-- I'm thinking it may be more of a challenge to work with a model who wants to hook up, than it would be to work with one that is there strictly for professional considerations.

Either way, the girl Tuesday is worthy of *gasp!* an actual canvas, if it works out, so here's to hoping....
