This weekend I was a rockstar....
It was absolutely amazing...a friend of mine flew into town on Friday and well...I got laid! Which was wonderful. We also shared some quality time together which was nice, considering the fact we've been friends for over ten years. I think we just both have the general understanding that we love one another and yet there is no way that we could ever be together, not just because of the distance, but because of our desperate need to be independent. It was so freeing to be able to lay half naked in bed with someone and be able to talk about real stuff, about life and people we've dated and not half to worry about hurting anyone's feelings, or having to put on a show for anyone. I think the both of us needed that...
Aside from that I worked quite a bit, drank quite a bit and got a new tattoo...
So I made it through my, what would have been,my five year wedding anniversary and knowing that my first love was getting married. I'm baffled at the fact that I had such a fabulous time....but still I'm so very thankful for the moments God has given me. It felt like this weekend was my present...like He decided that I deserved some good. I feel pretty blessed...
But now it's back to life and here I am...stone cold sober...writing a blog and listening to Maxwell..
Enjoy the pictures I posted!
I'm off to smoke....
