2.5 days till New York.

I'm going to see "Rent" on Sunday night. Has anyone seen it, and if so, what did you think?

Other than that, I have a sneaking suspicion that nothing will turn out the way it's been planned. But that's okay. There's more than one alternative in that city!

Hey,
Has anyone burned down Dees' Cafe yet or at least died in there? Don't know if you've been to N.Y. yet
but the Lower East Side is an O.K. part of town if you dont have any plans. Really if you check out anywhere from below 14th st to Delancy and from 2nd Ave to Ave.C you should find something you like. Just to be general about things. Have fun!!!

I love interviewing people for a job opening. Spent the day doing that, and more tomorrow. They throw around buzz words like MRP and "drill down" and a whole slew of other terms out of the current "How to be Successful" books. Clones in suits. Good band name!

All you soon-to-be-grads... hope you don't get someone like me on the other side of the interview...

I've never been asked anything strange in an interview, but I regularly make the other people in my office roll their eyes when I ask potential student hires what their favorite movie is and what the last concert they went to was. I know it's irrelavent, but I'm not sure I could hire someone who's favorite movie is Battlefield Earth.

May day! May day!

I can't believe it's May already. Heck, I can't believe it's 2003 and I'm as old as I am. Why it seems like only yesterday that I was driving around listening to Aerosmith and thinking that I had all the time in the world to do whatever I wanted.

Now I'm like "Damn! I'm never gonna get everything done!"

There's an...

So I left a sexy little message on someone's voice mail today, and lo and behold, it was totally ignored. I'd have gotten more of a response from Microsoft's HelpDesk. And you know how their response time is! Whaddaya think of that? Maybe I ought to divert all this energy to someone who likes it!

Or maybe I should keep my mind on my job,...

Thought for the day... why are the worst loves often the best lovers? Think about it. It's someone who does zip for your ego, is as romantic as a #2 coal shovel, but oh, man, the naked escapades are off the planet!
