So i might take some flack for this but i would like both men and women to understand where I am coming from. I recently bought a car ( from my mechanic) and not even 2 weeks later the head gasket , which sadly i do not even have a full understanding of what that is yet has blown. So you see, that although I have 2 university degrees and I do consider myself streetwise, I unfortunately dont know jack about cars or other items with engines, and that can sometimes really screw me over.
I wish that in high school that had been a mandatory class for even us cheerleaders (i know I would have bitched the entire time) regarding how to change a flat tire or even checking the oil in a car. Cause now, years later, damn i wish i knew how to do that stuff.
So if there are any men out there that feel like they want to share some knowledge... this girl over here with gel nails isnt afraid to mess up her manicure to learn somethings she should have been taught many years ago. please and thank you
And I could go on, because there are a lot of things that either men dont get taught because it is considered a "woman's job" or vice versa, and really that all puts us at a disadvantage at some point in our lives. I truly believe that if im not learning, im not growing. I dont ever want to be stagnant. So if there is something i dont know, teach me.
