Another favorite scene from BV:

The first time I saw Blue Velvet, the completely spontaneous and random nature of that scene made me laugh until I literally had tears rolling down my cheeks. I had to pause the film to finish my laughing fit before I could continue on. It's something I've quoted (and done) many, many times in the years since.
