The Stress
Ok. Saturday I was all amped up because Sunday I was driving up to north to go see H.I.M. play at Slims in S.F. and visit one of my friends I hadn't seen in a while. Excitment turned into staying up late and drinking till I had gained an extra chromosome. Hence, I got up late on Sunday. I still had to do the books and catch up on the end of month for three service stations that morning. So after a panicked rush i slammed those out and headed down about 12 miles south to drop off my keys for the General Manager since I would be out of town on Monday. On the way one of my tires started wobbling all to shit. I made it to my destination but realized that the tread on my tire was splitting apart (apparently from under-inflation; which i don't understand because i keept on top of stuff like that- anywho). After sweating out half of my bodies moisture while putting the spare on I drove back to San Luis Obispo to trade cars with my Mom. After cutting my Mom off mid-sentence a couple of times to inform her I was already late I hopped in her purple Toyota Corolla and proceded to jet up the 101. One of the last things my Mom told me was, "No smoking in my car." As the good son I am I waited until I was out of city limits before I lit up my first one. Long story short: I made it up to San Ramon and subsequently to the H.I.M. concert on time after hauling ass every available chance I got. Over-all the stress was worth the payoff though.
