Title this one Why am I awake this late again part 45798
Geez...so what's new?
On the computer front- The "new" Dell is now a dual-boot system. I'd rather not use Windows at all but it's good to "have around" for programs/games (like Oblivion) that don't function well on a linux box.
I also just found out my dvd burner will burn dual-layer dvds about half an hour ago. That would have been nice to know a couple of months ago. I guess enough can't be said about actually reading the manuals. Dumbass.
Work sucks. I'm doing my research to see what it would take to get into another field of work and/or make a lateral move within the company I work for. I don't want to do retail/grocery for the rest of my life. Making sure there is enough Clamato and 24 pack rolls of poo-tickets on the shelf is not as fulfilling as I'd hoped. Har har. My friend Sean pointed out that my exact words when I got hired on at F4L were "This is only temporary until I can find something else." The thought of starting out at the bottom again somewhere else isn't all that appealing either.
I should turn in. I need to get up and wash the X this morning before work. It's filthy and not the good kind of muddy filth from off-roading either. Just plain old dusty, bug-splatter filth.
