Yaa Muthafucka!!!!
I got the badass job! Me! I got it!!
Booya. I'm strictly in happy land now. Details to follow.
Ok, details. I got a job as an independant appraiser. Which is universally regarded as being a 'cut above' regular bodyshop work.
I get to be on the road most of the day, including a long lunch at the gym if i desire. The pay is better, and will get exponentially better after the 3 months. (like, almost double!)
The boss guy said that he wanted to hire me right away, i have all the experience, connections and credentials... but he was concerned about how the industry would take a woman in my position. He had to make a business descision regarding that. To quote him "... all those old guys are retiring in 5 years anyway, so screw them,"
haHA!
I love it. I know i'm one of a handful of female bodyshop appraisers... and now i'm the only female independant appaiser in the city, I may be the first one Ever here, but i cant be sure.
Yesss!

And thanks for the kind words.
Any idea what you're gonna do for the new printer? I'd look around and see what people in other online creative communities have to say.. as well as the usual computer magazines and stuff. Creatives are more important though... they're going to be the pickiest users. You might try Nikonians.com or KenRockwell.com to start.
