Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I got a big bunch of flowers! (the best habit leon has, random flower sending at work) Also had a fab sushi dinner at Towa downtown. Unagi roll! The best i've ever had. (Towa, by the way, seems to be a prime first date location. Every time i go there i overhear typical 'gettin to know you' conversations. I've had a few first dates there myself, come to think of it.)

Went and saw Memiors of a Geisha, which i thought was not bad. The could have hashed it far worse than they did. It had a 'montage' in the middle which made me laugh, i kept thinking of Team America.

What else. My mom bailed on coming to visit me, which was a total crapper. I'm not sure if i should be pissed or not about it. I keep thinking 'well, its only my mom,' which seems wrong on many levels. I'm old enough not to be wounded by such a minor thing, but christ, my own Mother doesnt have time for me. *sigh*.

I also met _fidelio's freind from vancouver. She was super sweet and very cute. Had a really nice cherry blossom braclet looking tattoo. Looked great on her.

AND my spa time. Facial, mud wrap, manicure. What a busy weekend!



(PS i'm doing some friend cleaning now.... I have some folks on my list who have never commented in my journal, and also some freind requests from total strangers. Its nothing personal! Hopefully talk to y'all sometime!)
