Today wasn't as bad as yesterday... much more tolerable and a hell of a lot less annoying! 
Just coming back from a bar I've been waiting to check out... la Barouf. Not bad. Decent beer, inoffensive music and friendly staff. I'll go again...

Ah yes. That is always a good sign. I had that in Ottawa and thankfully now at the Maysen. I miss the old bartender though. he would actually bring the beer to us as we walked in the door. Now that's service!
