I'm here! Woo hoo! Many thanks to Goblintcat for the invite! I'm going to jump right in and get started with an entry here...
Went out with Goblintcat last night and tied on one... lot's of fun as always! Digipunk, I think, was too worn out from Friday night, or else he'd have probably come along with us. You know, there's nothing like eating lots of turkey, potatoes, stuffing, pumpkin pie and promptly going out and piling lots of beer on top of it all. It's how all those fitness gurus stay in shape, you know. Tony Little can vouch for that... "Eat lots and lots and drink even MORE beer right before you go to bed! It's the best way to a healthier and more fit you!" Yep, that's taken right out of one of his lesser known books... oh yeah, sniff lots of coke before you do it! Nay, serioulsy brethren and sisters, I digress.
Ah, moving time is coming up for me once again. Ya know, for being in Mtl for 10 years and this being my 14th move, that ain't right. Gotta stay of the fed's radar, right? lol! I'm kidding, really... Anyhow, the Plateau rocks, hands down. Anyone who's lived here will agree... cool people, cool music scene (Biftek!). What more could someone want? It wasn't the same last time I lived here, though (about 5 years ago, or so). Ah, you gotta love centralized gentrification.
After this nice long weekend, it's back to the grind tomorrow... not so bad, a 4-day week... shouldn't really complain.
Nice to be here, all! I plan on staying, so you just may have to get used to me. :-)

Me: "Hey Fred, can you hand me that measuring cup?"
My sister: "Sure, Fred, the little one or the big one?"
Her brother-in-law: "HEY! FRED'S HERE! How you doing, Fred?"
Me: "Hey Spanky, don't call me Fred."
Spanky: "I'll quit as soon as you stop calling me Spanky."
Me: "Never happen, Spanky. I can live with Fred."
My turn. Why Tarbox?
*edited to say, Sorry about your relentless day. I've been relentlessly unemployed for a year, so I have a whole different sort of stress
