Ack! I sent you an email and failed utterly to FINISH IT before I hit send...whoops...
mslion:
Hey, I got a lovely email chock full of compliments and sweetness...and guess what? It was from you smile What do you mean you're not used to getting compliments...how can that be? Are people in Canada all blind? I mean...look at you! (Your family must be incredible, by the way. Because between you and your cousin...whoo! Is it warm in here, or is it just me? blush )

Thank you for what you said about my smile. I think it's my best feature smile

I'm starting to pull together an idea or two for your mailbox surprise...and look, just in time for Christmas smile

I can't wait for the Christmas holidays! Not necessarily the whole "Christmasy" thing, but more than anything else, to see friends and family and to get away from work! Close to 2 weeks off (paid!!!) and away from the hectic city life will be a warm welcome!

Hm, perhaps I shall visit the local library and see if they have that book. I could use all the help I can get biggrin
mslion:
Aww, aren't you sweet! smile

on a completely random note...what on earth does your most humbling moment mean? I keep reading it and trying to fit appropriate words in, but it usually turns out to be about Mickey Mouse shocked

Word has it that Micro$oft might be recalling the new Xbox 360... people have been reporting that games crash. biggrin I love it!

Man... I gotta get another band together. It's been too long and I really miss playing live. Jam sessions are one thing, but being in a band rocks. When you're in a band with the right chemistry, nothing beats it. Fickle things, though, bands... it's great when everyone gets along, but I always seem to end up in the situation where a couple members eventually...

hey, the liquor stores delivering makes a lot more sense than people running out at home and deciding to go get more shocked

When I lived in Arkansas, we had liquor stores with drive-up windows. How messed up is that??
mslion:
Yeah, it was kinda sweet, really. Except I lived in a dry county, so we had to drive to the county line to buy anything...unless we knew members of private clubs wink Man, I would never pictured my college drinking buddies as 50+ year old lawyers and college professors...funny how things work out biggrin

Ya know, I don't mean to give the impression I'm an alcoholic or something, but I love Scotch. Just had some 15 year old Talisker, and boy did that hit the spot.

Well that depends on the prices and my negotiating skills. The one I'm looking at right now is a bungalow with a finished basement but I've also got my eye on a nice little 2 storey deal which should be coming on the market soon.
mslion:
hm...thinking a nice Scotch might kill the germs that are trying to kill me right now...

what'cha think?

The scare is over... PHEW! Turns out that the heart medication my mom's been taking has been giving her stomach lining a fair workout and thinned it in areas. She developed a bad ulcer which, of course, now has to be combatted with more medication. eeek Ain't that just like modern medicine, though? Fixes one thing but breaks another! Damn...

All you well-wishing and positive thought...

I've still got those eating habits and the stress to help it along. I don't eat breakfast or lunch most of the time. One meal a day at around 6 pm. That's it, that's all.
mslion:
Yeah, I hear it's a great feeling...but I can't get past the "passing out and subsequent crying spell" that goes along with blood being removed from my body smile

Oh, crappy day... my mother was admitted into the hospital today due to severe pain in her left side. With a history of heart problems, we're keeping our fingers crossed that it isn't something serious. Well-wishes and positives thoughts are warmly welcomed... frown

Today was a nothing day, as my Sundays often are. All I did was sleep and maintained a good caffiene buzz, watched too much t.v.and went for a long walk. Feels good to do this from time to time, ya know?
goblintcat:
When all is said and done everything was pretty much good for the reinstall. I kept everything on the harddrive but lost alot of programs due to the registry change. Oh well, not much can be done about that I suppose and at least everything was still on the system. Just lots of work to get everything back to what it was before. frown

He has asthma and he got a nasty cold. Ended up with 20% capacity in his lungs!

All is good now though.

I wanted to add ceremonial magic (i have prior experience, but it has been a awile) to my cirriculum of stuff from AMORC (AMORC does not support) ..... for what i understand the O.T.O.
