ok.... i guess the fourth turned out to be a blast.
a huge group of us friends went out to the most random gravel road and started to blow things up,
until this lady drove up and told us we could park in her two acre lot.
yay!
somehow the guys found a PlaySkool workshop little play thing and tried to blow it up continuously by fusing random things together.
it started on fire for a bit but i don't think they understood that plastic just doesn't dissappear.
there were many roman candle fights and suprisingly nobody lost a limb.
it was almost like a middle school dance...
us girls huddled together lighting off smoke bombs, tanks, snakes and other small things while the guys were off in another group trying to think of things to put together to blow the play thing up.
we noticed a very unique pattern:
they would have a huddle around the toy.
put things together.
light.
run away.
they would end up being dissapointed or really excited that it burned some of the plastic and would go back for more.
what's with guys and fireworks anyway?
quite entertaining.
after many hours of dodging bottle rockets, flowers, and chasing the little parachues....
the fourth was over and it was probably one of the best i've had.
there's nothing like being with good friends.
nothing else really matters.
