carissaaaa

so... i haven't updated in a while. it seems like that's how most of my entries start, but that's probably because i hardly update.

school is going famously. i love it so much and i don't think i could be any happier with it. well, other than perming. who would have thought wrapping a perm would be so damn hard.

I had my first haircut on a live model as apposed to a manequin on friday. it turned out so awesome and the girl adored her hair. now i have like 5 people who want me to do their hair, but i don't go out onto the floor for 5 more weeks. i will be so excited when that day comes though. the end of may is when i have my certification for advancement test, so that's kinda scary, but i'm sure i will be preparted by then.

my boy won't be going home after all this summer, so that makes me happy as well. he got an assistanceship with cysco, so he'll be staying here and making a lot more money during grad school than he had previously thought.

i went to a drag show on thursday and that was so much fun, except this really creepy old man was like stalking me the whole evening and when i was trying to leave he was going to follow me out to my car! i was like i don't even think so, so i waited a whiel and the door man walked me to my car becuase i was really freaked out. i didn't want to go outside and get raped or some shit. but everything was fine after than and life has been going really well.
