Taking today off, mostly getting ready for the new shop to open, making business cards, organizing equiptment, ect.. while goin through my stuff from the last shop, I came across a pad of bristol board, and one of 3 drawings I did for a star wars sketchbook.. its currently the only finished piece of the 3, but I am definitly happy to find it, because it means I dont have to re-paint it...
as I'm cleaning, i have discovery channel on, and it's very much making me miss pinstriping. I used to get called in to pinstripe stuff when needed back in Mass. when I have the money, I may invest in some new brushes and pick it back up.
I am also itching to do a fun tattoo. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my job immensly.... but I cant say that all I want to do is little custom butterflies and hearts and such... (which is a big majority) and it is tiring fixing up bad work... yesterday I worked on a guy who had let his friend just go to town on a nautical star on his chest, which was enough of a pain to try to fix, not to mention he brought the guy who did it with him... thats just akward..... I'm pretty sure within the next week Mike will let me do a color portrait of Ash on him, so I'm quite excited about that!
