So I went to a fabulous warehouse party last weekend in Asheville! Going to post some of them soon.
For my admirers, a new pic of moi:

I had a photographer friend of mine take a portrait shot.
I am now the designated event photographer of Atmoshpere. A cool ass electronica music store for DJ's and such in downtown Asheville!

My grandmother past away this past weekend...Sat. Jan. 22, 12:15am.
I am a true descendant of Abraham Lincoln..per the grandmother that passeth away...I wish I could have known her better, and wish I could have been..not a failure in her extremely overly judgemental mind.

Hi Carie. I'm real sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I think a benefit to us photographers is that we're able to always "picture" a loved one in our memories better than any print could capture.

Anyway, I'm kinda new to the site, and have been checking out all the photog posts. I came across your nude w/ shadows shot in the Post your Best Photo thread, and I must say that I'm totally blown away! Phenomenal work with pose, cropping, and contrast! An outstanding example of what I'm aspiring to produce...someday (with lots of practice and a little luck). Thanks!!

I swear unto you, Asheville seems to have changed since I lived there. An electronica store? For DJs? There are DJs in Asheville now. Man...
