hey everyone.
So - I've been on SG for a few weeks now and I'm getting over my wanderlust for all the cool groups, pics, boards, bodies, blogs, tomfoolery and shenanigans. I love the site. The community is (so far) just what I was hoping for. I just wanted to thank you new friends for welcoming me and giving me a haven where I can be me.
speaking of communities, where are you posting elsewhere on the net? What forums are you lurking in out there?
My faves that I can remember are - - -
filcatchers.com
utteraccess.com
eq2forums.com
dancingmokey.com
seems like I used to spend some time on some guitar forum but It's not coming back to me now. -false memory possibly.
anyway, SG has them all beat. + loads of nekkidity.
I had a fucking fantastic weekend with DarkBlueMarcy. I just got back into town this morning. I couldn't take a half day on Monday, so I slept a little early Sunday night and headed out for a 5.5 drive to work. It's ok, cause it's not much different than a regular day in Atlanta traffic. So I've been at work all day and up all night so I'm delirious tired right now. (2:30AM - 11PM is a pretty long day) I feel old. thank god Marcy kept me feeling young all weekend.
We saw 300 - it was in-fucking-credible! I was sooo glad to be charged up for a movie. PLUS it's pretty unusual for me to go to a movie and not know what to expect in the characters and story. I had not read up on this prior to going. I'm glad I hadn't. The story was told beautifully, and I really enjoyed reacting the way the director had (obviously) planned so well.
-A Masterwork!
I've been learning Japanese a little the past 2 weeks. So I was excited when Marcy wanted to go to a Japanese place to eat. I"ve been a little bummed and slacking on my audio course because I don't have anyone to talk Japanese to. Unfortunately, our chef was (kinda) American, preoccupied, and mumbled. The food was great, though, and a new experience for me. Also, Marcy redeemed sushi for me. The last time I had it - I hated it. This stuff was good. Much more mild.
So for practicing Japanese, I guess I should what? Go to the mall and hit on Japanese girls?
I also finally got to meet one of Marcy's dearest friends. -Nick. Nick thinks I'm hot and that makes me feel good. He always tells Marcy I'm the hottest. Thanks, Nick.
