a brief apology...

Hey guys and gurls!

I'm just posting this quick blog post because I need to apologize to the staff members and also people from the community.

As I was browsing through the hopefuls important links, I noticed that there wad a thread about fundraising, gifts and wishlists.

It caught my eye. I clicked on the thread and read that I had basically infringed one of the important rules of sg.

Some of you may know, or may not know (just like I did a few hours ago) that members, SGH and SG's are not allowed to request money from others. This means no sharing of fundraisings. So, I would just like to apologize for sharing on here that I was raising money to buy things that will help my modelling career.

As of today, I will not be making any more fundraisings.

The only thing I might do is put up an etsy shop to sell my polaroids, but they will only be announced through my instagram and esty shop itself, to make sure I don't cross the line again (though I'm pretty sure announcing you're selling prints from time to time is not that bad, as long as you're not only posting about it)

With that being said, members are though allowed to send gifts to other members, but I will not be accepting any nor sending anything via SG.

I hope it clarifies a bit the situation and that the girls that don't know this rule now know it :3 for more information, refer to the article 6.5 of the girls FAQ.

Unless this rule is new in the last few weeks, I think the important thing is that they don't want models to make a habit of asking for money.  Some models and members have posted links to fundraisers they are doing for charity.  Others have asked for donations to help with medical (or vet) bills after illness or accidents.  Some have posted their wishlist after a breakup where they need help with some of the basics to start over on their own.  Many girls post their wishlists around their birthday or Christmas.  It doesn't seem to be a big deal to do things like that once in a while.  If you ever have questions, I'm sure @lyxzen can help clarify how strict they are about that rule.  But, I think it comes down to making sure that asking people for money isn't the main reason you have an account on SG.  :)

@catdad yep that's for sure :3 But anyways in my case I'm just not going to do that anymore ^^
