HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Finally get round to updating... I've been very busy.
Xmas at home was wonderful, I spent a lot of time sleeping and eating good food, going to the local with the parents and reading all the books I took with me and a few more: Cloud Atlas, The Cold 60,000, Merde Actually, The Blood Doctor, The Lovely Bones and Tom's Midnight Garden (again).
I got some lovely presents: Jo Malone Honeysuckle and Jasmine Cologne (so heavenly, yum!), benefit lip exfoliator and balm, a new bracelet, wicked new black cord combat-type trousers, new jeans, some new sexy vests, stripey thigh-high socks, DVDs: Sin City, The Cutting Edge (ha ha my mum's joke), Phenomena (D.Argento), Resident Evil, The Big Lebowski, Dazed and Confused, a Bach CD (flute sonatas) from my mum, chocolate chocolate and more chocolate. I am a spoilt girlie and presents are goooooood
I left my tripod behind like a moron so didn't get any good pics, mind you it snowed a bit so I had to do the snowflake/nipples thing with no documentation of it, shame...
New Year was wicked up till 12, I have never laughed so much in one night, went to the Treason Show (satirical comedy sketch thingummy) , then after 12 I turned into a pumpkin and should really have gone home right away, I rowed with friends etc etc. just got kinda stressed out with the mad pressure people put on me, plus I was feeling a bit ill.
So since then I've been ill, throat killing me, broke my brace yesterday on tapas (think it was either the olives or the marinaded pork skewers), then woke up this morning with no electric - bah forgot to charge the metre so had to stagger to shop and back again.
So mostly bad stuff, grrr, but still feel pretty good in myself, optimistic, not really sure why, except that I found some wicked new clothes in the sales, I am back in touch with my doll of a sister (we went for tapas together yesterday), and this year I will get my deposit back - I'm sure of it!
And I thoroughly recommend wensleydale with cranberries in sandwiches. YUM!
