A week ago, while working on my weekly write about hopefuls, I came across Jacqui Daniels. She has been a hopeful since 2014, which is remarkable, because she has a many sets that I think make her stand out. Each one of them is beautifully done and there is a lot of variety in them, there is something I think everyone will find enjoyable. Check out her sets here: https://www.suicidegirls.com/members/jacqui_daniels/photos/. I recently reached out to Jacqui, who has been dealing with Covid, and graciously replied to my questions. I hope this helps you to get to know a little more about her and see why I think she is a Suicide Girl. In her own words:
A little about who I am: I am Jacqui Daniels, a hopeful based out of Albuquerque, NM. I am a full-time supervisor and soon to be a full-time MBA student. I am a dog lover and a donut fanatic! I have been modeling since I was 2006 and I have been an SGH since 2014.
What promoted my participation with SG: When I first started modeling 16 years ago there was less and less opportunity for me the more ink I got. I kept having people tell me I destroyed my body and any chance at modeling with every tattoo addition. I feel SG offers a place that is friendly for every girl! Ink, no ink, colored hair, natural hair, modified, the list goes on and on. SG supports all types of women and that is something I love about them.
What motivates me to continue making photos sets: I think it is a good way of staying active in the SG community, a good way to show my growth, progress, and ideas. I have so many ideas for sets that I still have not executed yet. I always feel timing is everything and wait until I feel it is time. It is hard to explain, but I never rush something, it has to be something I feel confident and proud of.
What inspires me: I gather inspiration from all over. Sometimes I can even gather inspiration from a location I have in mind. Just the same the other way around, I will have an outfit or theme and work on trying to find the perfect location to accommodate the set.
What set did I enjoy doing most and why: Princess of Heart, I am a big Kingdom Hearts fan! Played the game since I was a kid with the first one. I was just as happy as an adult the day the 3rd one came out as I was a kid. It was so fun to Cosplay as Kairi, it was also something I have not seen anyone do on the SG site.
Advice for others, anything else I want to say: Stick with it, not everyones journey is the same length on SG. I think that applies for life in general, we compare based on progress not understanding we all have different feet and paths to walk.
Thank you again, sending love and hope you are staying safe!
I think Jacqui like so many here are going to school and trying to further their opportunities, and still make time to do something they enjoy. Congrats to you Jacquie, and we wish you the best on you MBA. I imagine many of the girls here have heard or even felt like that their ink, piercings, or even artistic interests were something to avoid. Like Jacqui, so many here prove ink and all you're still beautiful. Beauty comes from within and enjoying doing what you do really makes that shine. Jacqui's sets vary showing a depth to her personality and interests. I am impressed with her tenacity. Whether you've been at something for a short time or a long time, enjoy our unique journey, great advice.
Make Jacqui a Suicide Girl, pay her page/blog a visit, check out her photos, leave her a tip and support her schooling and work. She is a very active member, and tons of fun. Thanks Jacqui, you're a Princess of Heart!
