Havent written anything in a very long time, so I figured I should somewhere.
Got back from Iraq in late August. Everything was all a whirl for a long time, still kind of is. The wife and I took a trip to salt lake. Saw NIN twice, once there and once at red rocks, it was pretty cool. Floated in Salt Lake, it was one of those things you do just to say you did it. Spent all my money from Iraq, dont know what I spent most of it on aside from two trips(the other was to Silverton and Durango), but I got down to somewhere around $1500 and ended up spending that on the dog, which swallowed a kids super ball whole and needed surgery.
Would like to buy a house before my lease is up in this apartment, but not sure if thats going to get done because I have to spend some money to take my wife back to Virginia so she can see her family for the holidays, and that combined with a trip I have to take for work will keep me out of town for pretty much the entire month of December, and the lease here is up in January. So it seems there are a million things to do between now and the new year, and almost no time to do them in. It's one of those periods in my life that time seems to scream by at an incredible rate.
