Good lord Smoothbeats.com plays some of the greatest Hip Hop ever created. Stuff I've long forgotten about but now can't stop listening to. I just heard 'Pimpin' Ain't Easy' ( the Big Daddy Kane version). If you've never heard it, you are missing out on some the most hilarious phrases ever soupted by an MC such as, "I wanted to tax that asssss like the gubment". De La Soul, Micronots, KRS One, early LL Cool J...they have it all.
In other news work is slow. It's fucking weird. I feel like something is wrong. I just think it's slow because things are moving smoothly and I'm not constantly dealing with messed schedules and an immense amount of work all at once.
Tonight the lady will be dining with Opheliar for Thanksgiving.....Canadian style. Well not really by style as much as by tradition and date. I'm sure it will be fun. Soy roast or something? ToFurkey? I don't exactly know how that whole thing works with vegetarians but I will find out tonight. Also, I'm not versed in the Canadian form of Thanksgiving. As I understand it, much of the same food customs apply such as turkey and cranberries...etc. I will have to read up on it to understand why the US and Canadian versions are so similar as I'm sure the French and British didn't fuck up their part of the continent as the (now US) pilgrims fucked up everything down here. I could be wrong though.
Anyway, tonight I will be doing nothing. I will jub hunting once again, watch the rest of my Ben Stiller Show DVD, then some Adult Swim, then hopefully sleep. Seeyas
