Thanks to the Flux possie for all the hellos.
Some answers to questions on the comment board..
Apart from Stuart Gordon who do you dig film making wise? And what do you play music wise? --
so many.. well some of Argento, Hitchock for sure, Welles, Raimi, Kubrick, Cronenberg, many more..
music.. well I had a Metal bandStigmeta, bet drummer left. Lately Ive been playing jug band stuff. Guitar harmonica, bass, just getting into chromatic harmonica which is fun.
and congrats on meeting Ray Bradbury
yes awesome good times.
What do you mean when you say you "directed" the 40th anniversary?
We put on the first ever public Satanic ritual. It sold out overnight to COS members so it wasnt as public as I would have liked. But the idea was to take a combination of standard Lavey rituals, and present them in a slightly more presentational format in a theatrical setting. So I directed the show, which ended up being a great and unusual experience for someone who is not a Satanist. I quoted Satanic because there is a fundamental difference between Laveys Satanism and say a cat killing douchebag Satanist.
Oh and yes, the people I worked with are definately aware of Haxan, The priests that I meet were actually really cool and educated in the history of the occult
