As shades of crimson engulf the sky, the sun slowly begins its crescendo, marking the dawning of a new day. The sky assimilates a blue hue to pacify the passer-by. The flora facilitates hues of greens and yellows. The world around us all is a painting personified. Yet, we fail to notice the small and intricate wonders that make up this world so beautiful and divine. Stressfulness and a lack of personal awareness blind us. They steel our joyous laughter, and dim our flames of hopefulness. Society convicts us of greed and self-preservation. Our governments laugh at our own follies as we blindly follow them to our demise. We fail to see the course of action spread out before us like a plague. Does no one notice the epic failings of governments notorious for surviving no matter the cost? Does this not intrigue anyone? Have we all lost every ounce of morality that the world could possibly muster? I am afraid to admit the answers to these questions as they appear to me. I hope beyond anything that my opinion and assumptions are wrong. For if I am right, we are all doomed.
The media plays a role like no other. They control and warp our fragile minds. They bend and sway us as if we were but saplings amidst a hurricane. They feed like wolves on our misguided naivete. The media is but a pawn used to demoralize us. They hold us down and remind us of where our place truly is in this sickly society. Can you honestly believe that we are not constantly and consistently lied to on a daily basis? The POTUS has information withheld from him by CIA and NSA personnel. Do you honestly believe that not to be the case for us? Trust is misplaced. Loyalty is a word that has lost its meaning. Our governments want nothing more than to benefit from our failures. They want to break us and use us like cogs in their machines. We are but pieces to a game board. They do not sympathize nor empathize with us. They laugh at our misfortunes. They are untouchable. Or so they think.
