My class is reading Things Fall Apart. It takes place in Nigeria over one-hundred years ago, and the main staple in that tribe is yams, and they're always eating something called "yam foo-foo." I found a recipe for it online, so I made some and am bringing it in to share with all my classes. It's basically just like mashed potatoes, except with yams. I...

I'd look like those fat twins on the motorcycles from the Guinness books. If I lose weight you got something there. Shit, I still want a bike

Hey thanks!
It's almost the end of the second week of school and things are going pretty well. I'm starting with a comparative religions unit in my World Literature class. I'm getting a bunch of guest speakers and we have our first one on Judaism tomorrow. My girlfriend seems to be adjusting pretty well to Arizona too. She loves her kids; she's just not used to all...

She wraps her arms around my neck like a baby or something. Pretty cute.
How are you?

So I'm finally back in Arizona! I helped my girlfriend drive all her stuff out here from Cleveland, and now we can finally live together again. She's an animal person too, so in the cab of the budget truck there were two humans, three cats, a bearded dragon, and a Russian box tortoise.

I got my tonsils taken out yesterday. Thankfully I haven't had to use them, but the doctor gave me some suppositories in case I became nauseous, and here's what it says on the instructions on the label: "Take one per rectum every six hours as needed." Per rectum? How many rectums do they think I have, or am I supposed to share them like...

As I always tell people I spent a couple of hours at the San Carlos Hotel but nothing happened and we went to the Whaley House in San Diego and something did happen. We also make a point to visit hot spots

I agree with that statement!
I like the bubbles. But I didn't notice a problem with them last time, either.

Great news! My girlfriend was just hired! She's moving out here in August. They're so desperate out here for special ed teachers, they called her ten minutes after she emailed them, and then they hired her the same day.

I read Things Fall Apart and I loved it. That was back in high school... (I barely grad in 04 and I just finished colleg 08). We read it in my "global humanities" (aka before AIMS classes there was that...) and I still remember it to this day. Good book. Go you!
And the Office... I don't know, maybe Thursday? Look into that?
How are things with the girl? She's in AZ now right?
