When I joined the site in 2014, I was going through a rough time in my life. I wasn't sleeping very well and had terrible insomnia. As a way to keep my mind of things, I decided to start trying to do some portraits of some of the girls and put it out there for all to see.
I started a thread called "Let me draw you like one of those French Girls"
I had always like drawing, and had been getting into digital art, but never really pushed myself. This was a way to step out of my comfort zone by actually doing picture of real people and then working up the nerve to show them. Fortunately the feedback was good and encouraged me to keep going.
This was the first piece I posted, of @mrshyde (who is no longer active)
I kept making new pictures over the next few years, learning and refining new techniques. The last picture I posted in that thread was in 2017.
Since the last time i posted in that thread, a lot has happened. I got life back on track, my art improved and even allowed me to start working in a creative field now that i love.
I recently made some more SG art for a little competition that is being held on the site . Some likes and comments on my work there would be greatly appreciated.
