You never listen to me! Cindy exclaimed. I wish you would just try to see where I was coming from, but you just sit there with this skeptical smirk like you were some kind of social judge, judging me for thinking a little differently than other people. I mean all the great discoveries and inventions have come from people who dared to think differently.... Read More

It's been about 5 years since I've been to Europe and one thing I noticed was lots and lots of anti American juju and I mean sure, Americas government sucks asshole right now. But don't be stupid... Don't display the same ignorance as those fat Americans with thier patriotic jumpsuits who... Read More
We had a really tough tour this summer as far as van trouble. One time we were pulled over on the side of the highway in Nebraska. It was one of the first major problems which ultimately lead to us being forced to sell our van after we got to Hollywood. So Jesse and Thad are a hundred yards back on the pavement, waving trucks... > I'm not sure exactly what time soundcheck is but If you're going to be around in the afternoon, that would probably work best for me... Just give me a call and we'll figure it out...
Hey, what's up? I was going to ask if you were coming out for the Pietasters/Mass Hysteria gig this Friday at the Middle East, but I just looked at your site and saw that you are off touring.
Drop me a line when you get back, let me know how the tour went.

I'll probably see you guys again when you come back with Plain White T's, even though all of the other bands suck ass.

On the road again
Just can't wait to get on the road again
The life I love is makin' music with my friends
And I can't wait to get on the road again
On the road again
Goin' places that I've never been
Seein' things that I may never see again,
And I can't wait to get on the road again.
ahhhh, what up baby? long time no type, how have you been?
im great, its been very interesting lately. the past week on the road has been lesson after lesson in patience, and life in general i guess. i am typing to you now from a one computer internet cafe somewhere in the hills of southern-central oregon. we have been stranded in totally different small, middle of nowhere, yet eerily friendly, towns.
ill take you through a quick rundown;
first it was nebraska, in a small town twenty miles south of omaha, called council bluffs. we stayed the night at a sketch trucker prostitution sting kind of a motel, cancelled a gig in omaha and dropped six hundred bucks for a new clutch fan. then we tried to make it to our next days gig in colorado but after about seven hours at ninety miles an hour some radiator hose blew out. this was in ogallala nebraska. we met these nice folks from denver who owned an ice-cream shop and had a cute little four year old daughter named alex. they made us a complimentary breakfast and gave us a great deal on banana splits for the whole time we were there. at this point we had cancelled a total of three gigs and were getting broke so we tried to book some stuff at the local bars. this actually ended up being a really good time. and lucrative, in fact it almost put us back on schedule money-wise. at this point we had a couple days to get get to victoria for our next show, so we took a constant but leisurely cruise all the way up 89 (the oregon trail). (i dont know if youre a ben folds fan but shouts to twinn falls idaho). anywho we were doing great until last night when we stopped for a quick break from driving and the transmission basically bought the farm. we spent the night sleeping in the van next to a small tool shack that had a light on inside. there were no windows though, you could only see a little light coming from under the door. anyway we got up at seven this morning and had the van towed to the baker "city", OR. i took a shower and went into town, found a cafe and here i am, typing you this email. i hope i didnt bore you.
anyway, never a dull moment, you know the deal.
awww, i miss you too baby. thanks fo the digits, ill call you randomly, in the middle of the night, sometime soon.
My great friend Ed said that to me years ago when he and I were college roomates. I havent been able to forget it. I dont even talk to him much anymore, but I an continually reminded about how right he was.
