My new roommate just moved in last night, and i'm already finding various annoyances.
The dorm said i needed a new roommate after my old one disappeared, or i would have to pay for a private room (which is pointlessly expensive). So i go to the "roommate fair" to find someone, i just talk to this guy for awhile and figured "yeah whatever, he'll work, i can get along with anyone".
He's a nice guy but he will not stop talking about the most pointless things. I was up til 3 this morning trying to get him to shut up and sleep. And now for today he has done nothing, just kinda laid around messed with some of his stuff and just barely...excisted.
Is it anti-social to prefer being alone sometimes?
It doesn't bug me that he's here, but if only he would read a book or play a game or do something. He just now started unpacking his stuff.
Sometimes i'd rather enjoy my anti-socialness
Its not like i've done much better myself, i spent most of the day wandering this site.
but at least i did something.
