I took a look at your brother's friend's story and almost fell out of my chair... Thanks for the smile my day needed that.
As for Makalu... yes it's in the Himilaya's. You can actually see it from the summit of Mt. Everest, or so I've been told. I've also been told that Grandmother's have a much better grasp on a child's imagination than most other adults
And thank you for the kind words, I have always been a little hesitant to reply to people's past journal entries because I'm afraid that they won't read what i've written. But in the case of that entry I felt the need to put in my imput on the subject. I have alway been alittle curious as to how people from other countries viewed America... and everything that goes along with it.
And now that I've joined SG I can talk to you all everyday, great people from other countries, people my own age, and have an open dialogue on all of these current events.
I mean I love my country, but I feel just as helpless against the hierarchy as the next youth. The media especially... just because it is a beast of it's own making. They seem to have no morals usually and it makes me sad to think that the American media is controlling what everyone else is hearing/reading/and seeing....

I am sorry that you had to listen to the worst radio station in the world. I avoid radio stations. Well mainstream one at least. It's the least I can do to contain my sanity. I like to listen to underground or university radio stations. they are informative and I will soon have my very own radio show. I am very excited. And about all the media-hatin' terrorist ranting on your last entry. I will start by apologising for not keeping up with all the news. And finish by telling you that I feel like almost all media bastards should suck our asses!! Most all of Americans are spoon fed all of their news, and I'm glad to hear that it happens elsewhere. It's not a good thing by any means--- very bad to say the least--- but it's realistic to hear that it's happening elsewhere in the world.
