Raven6241 has inspired this journal entry.. So if it lacks enjoyment blame him. haha
I think Australians are headed for some serious problems.. Do we really want to become the next U S of A? A country where the mainstream starts to believe everything the media throws at them?
We saw this with the case of Schapelle Corby. Innocently portrayed by the media without giving any information on factual evidence.. Did we hear much about the three customs officials who gave evidence of Schapelle admitting the drugs were hers? Of course not, they were foreigners! We cant trust foreigners. And I forgot that hearing she was a white female beauty school student was all I needed to judge someones innocence.
We got a media bashing over the case, and to tell you the truth I was sick of it. Now we are getting it again with the case of Michelle Leslie. Another pretty white girl with a couple of pills. This will remain headline news for god knows how long, and why??? Cos pretty white girls cant be guilty! Or so the media will try and have you believe. After all, did we have constant media coverage when Japanese student Chika Honda got ten years in a Victorian jail over similar circumstances?
On July 7, 56 people were killed when bombs exploded on Londons Underground. One week later the event was still front-page news. (Now dont get me wrong, this made me sick to the stomach, Im not trying to take away from this tragedy but what happened next was even worse) On page 27 I saw a story that was only 4 lines long.. It read Three passenger trains have collided in southern Pakistan, killing at least 132 people and injuring hundreds more Is this all we get on a tragedy which claimed almost three times as many innocent lives?
On July 23 At least 88 people were killed in bomb attacks in the Egyptian resort of Sharm al-Sheikh, this didnt even come close to front-page news.. Is it because Australians cant relate to people of multicultural diversity? Is it because the media has been on a mission to label anyone with a middle-eastern appearance a terrorist? The media and the United States government have been busy enough trying to convince simple Australians that Egypt and Pakistan are breading grounds for terrorists, they wouldnt want us to feel sorry for their losses.
The Australian media has a hell of a lot of explaining to do! I just hope people arent paying too much attention to the journalistic integrity of the likes of Ray Martin.
I just hope its not too late.
Fuck simple-minded Australians , fuck George W Bush, and fuck you for wasting your time to read my pointless dribble! haha

Yeah, Irish Catholic right here. Guilt all year except Christmas when everyone sheds their religious beliefs and drink until there's no tomorrow.
