I am so incredibly jaded against relationships right now. I had this huge, 1000+ word post, but it seemed to be too much of a rant for a blog. Let me ask this: with you girls, why does everything with a relationship have to be such a production, be so complicated. Why can't it just be as easy as it can and should be. When two people care about each other, maybe even love each other, why do you have to create imaginary drama to get in the way of that.
From what I have seen in my past relationships as well as friends' current ones, the bullshit that seems to get in the way of the relationship, is never significant, never breakup-worthy, yet the girls let it fuck things up. But yet, I have seen female friends put up with abusive, negligent assholes for years at a time.
It just doesn't make any sense to me.
Why should I even try? If you're a nice, decent guy, it just seems doomed for failure.
